07 Sep, 2010 03:25 PM
THE Deepdene Poll Dorset Stud at Narrandera conducted its 14th annual ram sale and sold sires to a top of $1850.

The rams sold in a 100 per cent clearance to a mix of new and repeat buyers and made an average of $910 which was up $100 on last year’s result.

The top priced ram was secured by repeat buyer Robert Kells from Wantabadgery.

Fellow Wantabadgery buyer Chris Wilson paid $1600 for a ram.

Malcolm Clark from Ardlethan also paid $1600 for a sire.

And he bought a second ram for $1500.
