A EWE competition showcasing the best bloodlines in the Riverina due to get underway tomorrow has been cancelled.
The Bruce Moses Memorial Shield and Inaugural Great Southern Ewe Challenge will not be on until next year due to the massive amount of rain which fell in the Temora district.
Despite entries from some of the best Riverina flocks a Moses and spokesman told The Rural the event simply couldn't be run due to the conditions on many local properties.
It was too wet to load sheep.
