The 62nd Narrandera Rodeo, on February 22, is set to go to the next level with the addition of a big screen.
The screen will cover the riders from in the chutes till they hit the arena, with instant replays of their rides. This will make for non-stop action from 6.30pm onwards.
Rodeo stock contractor, Gary McPhee will again be supplying his award-winning livestock.
At the Tamworth Australian Bushmen's Campdraft Rodeo Association (ABCRA) National Finals Rodeo this year his mare Cheyenne Top Girl was again voted saddle bronc horse of the year, and Mandys Boy took the honours as bareback horse of the year.
Other feature horses of on the program include Cheyenne Brave, Cagen Lady, Cagen Man and Still a Secret – all Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) national finals bucking horses. The bucking bulls will test the cowboys skills, with Hammertone, Sandblaster, Chalky, Stumpy and Little Chief all being APRA National Finals bucking bulls.
Prizemoney of $35,000 up for grabs will draw the best riders from throughout Australia to compete.

The celebrity steer ride will return this year, placing local identities with negligible riding skills on the big screen and into the arena.
Members of the Narrandera Rodeo Committee have been working hard all year maintaining the excellent facilities for the spectators and competitors.
Hot and cold food, soft drinks and coffee will be available all day from the canteen with proceeds going to local charities. The bar and ice-cream van will be operating in the evening.
With award-winning stock, big prize money and the big screen spectators will be assured of an evening of non-stop thrills and spills. The gates are open all day, with a 6.30pm start.
