Mr Millward from Wagga sent seven of his finest birds to the Easter show with his mate Bruce Ryan.
Last Thursday he received a phone call to say the birds had won seven first place ribbons.
Mr Millward was unable to attend the show but was thrilled with the result.
It was his first time exhibiting at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and said he didn't have any expectations about how the parrots would go.
"We won seven first, three champions and two reserve champions," he said.
The birds were entered in seven different categories.
Meanwhile, Mr Ryan, also from Wagga exhibited the grand champion parrot.
Mr Millward said he had been breeding parrots for about 10 years and it was a hobby.
In addition to showing birds Mr Millward is active on the Wagga Show Society and holds the position of vice president.
He has been involved with Wagga Show for more than 40 years.
Mr Millward said shows were an important way to demonstrate to people the value of Australia's rural sector.
