The top-priced bull, Sprys Block Buster J3 was sired by Sprys Patents Ace G38 and sold to commercial breeders and longtime supporters of the stud, Dromore Station, Wilcannia.
Block Buster J3 is in the top one per cent group for estimated breeding values (EBVs) for carcase weight, retail beef yield and the top five percent for gestational length, eye muscle area and 200, 400 and 600 day weight.
Equal second top price was for Sprys Primrose Buddy J17 which sold to Glengyron Stud in Victoria.
Buddy J17 is an extremely thick and deep bull which would suit heifers and cows.
Meanwhile seven sons offered by Sprys Patent's Ace G38 averaged $7785.
