The team at Clipex seem to think so, as they set out to revolutionise Australian farming with the Clipex Sheep Handler – a fully automated sheep handling unit.
Clipex is a 100 per cent family-owned company built on innovation. Started in 2007 when founder Ashley Olsson discovered a quicker and easier way to build a fence with the Clipex keeper system, the company has continued to expand into new innovations, specialising in fencing, stockyards and animal handling.
The latest edition - the Clipex Sheep Handler - is expected to reshape Australia’s agricultural industry.
Compact, towable and with off-road independent suspension, the Clipex Sheep Handler’s mobility outshines anything else on the market, making it incredibly easy to transport. When it comes to aesthetics, there are even alloy rims just for good measure.
But it isn’t just good to look at. When it’s ready to use, the drafting and pre-catch section neatly fold out, forming an impressive handler.
Three electric jacks allow easy adjustment to create the perfect work height so there will be no more back-breaking, tiresome labor.
It’s also hot-dipped galvanized with replaceable bushes on all the moving parts. The electronics are designed and built in Australia.
With a surprisingly attractive price it is the best pneumatic valve bank that money can buy, but more important is the workflow of the handler. The handler features a pre-catch, innovative anti-backing and flap doors that work together with amazing new eye-sensor technology that keep sheep flowing.
It can also automatically catch sheep with incredible accuracy, has a roll over tilt function and lift flaps that provide unparalleled access to the animal, all with minimal effort.
The handler comes with load bars included and, when used with a suitable scale indicator, will weigh and draft sheep automatically.
