Heavy and extra heavyweight lambs were well supplied. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market.
Light lambs lifted $2, selling from $94 to $106/head. Trade weights were $5 better, with prices ranging from $106 to $136/head.
Heavy and extra heavyweight lambs were $4 to $5/head dearer. Heavy lambs sold from $137 to $150/head.
Carcase prices averaged from 545c to 590c/kg cwt. A handy offering of Merino and Dohne lambs sold from $109 to $168/head.
Mutton numbers lifted and quality was very mixed. Prices eased, with Merino ewes selling from $79 to $113/head.
Heavy crossbred ewes sold from $105 to $116/head.
Dorper ewes received from $75 to $109/head.
