This business was established by Marvin Amaro, who migrated from California to Australia in the early 1960s, believing there was a great opportunity to develop a significant agricultural enterprise.
His desire and passion was to produce and specialise in the production and marketing of high quality fruit and vegetables, including rockmelons, honeydews, watermelons, pumpkins and wine grapes.
Over successive generations, the business established a reputation for growing high quality produce, generating strong demand.
Offers can be submitted for Amaland Agco on a walk in-walk out basis, or for the purchase of the Amaro family and Amaland Agco assets, including "Pinevale North"; "Pinevale South"; 1316 Walla Avenue, Griffith; Farm 1309, Whitton; Farm 1318, Whitton; 2853 Murrumbidgee Irrigation high security water entitlements; 3842 Murrumbidgee Irrigation general security water entitlements; and specialised and general farming plant and equipment.
Pinevale North and Pinevale South are the principal production properties.

Farms 1309 and 1318 at Whitton are presently leased for cotton and summer/winter cereal production.
Family members Gary Amaro and Wendy Amaro would be available to the new owner as consultants for a negotiable period, while the general manager and other key employees have indicated a willingness to discuss future employment.
