YPIA was founded by rural consultant Chris Minehan, and has about 200 members.
“The group runs professional development events throughout the year, catering to a broad cross section of the agricultural industry in southern NSW,” Mr Minehan said.
“It’s an extensive network of young men and women working in the industry, from farmers, to bankers, agronomists, livestock agents and industry representatives,” he said.
“We try to come together once a month for a few beers and it’s a great way to keep up to date with what’s happening in the ag world.”
Mr Minehan said Wagga had a hub of young people working in agriculture.
Tickets are $25 and must be pre purchased at www.eventbrite.com.au/e/ypia-christmas-drinks-tickets-19354363422 or search Young Professionals In Agriculture on Facebook
