Last year there were about 18,000 people who made their way to Corryong for the celebration of mountain cattleman culture.
Festival coordinator of six years Jenny Boardman said this year it had seen at least a 20 per cent jump in numbers.
“The atmosphere is always something that intrigues me,” she said.
“We have thousands of people leaving saying how amazing our volunteers are and how friendly everyone is.”
Ms Boardman said it was hard to come up with enough descriptive words about just how fantastic the event had been.
“The camping was overflowing by Friday lunchtime but still they came,” she said.
“We had a fantastic night in rodeo ... the two concerts went off so well, our sponsors are extremely happy with the show, our traders all had big smiles on their faces.
“I can't thank everyone enough.”
