Miss Turner used to clip horses on the weekends and after school for pocket money.
The 25-year-old lost her mother to cancer five years ago and was recently re-inspired to raise money for the Cancer Council.
She is nearing the end of a three-week journey where she has clipped almost 40 horses.
Miss Turner charged $120 for the service, donated $100 to the Cancer Council and used the rest to cover travel expenses.
Horse owners would often contribute extra money, provide snacks for the road or offer accommodation.
Miss Turner aimed to raise at least $5000, $1000 for each year her mother has been gone.
She has surpassed that goal.
Miss Turner will participate in the Kangaroo Hoppet ski marathon at Falls Creek in August.
The marathon will be another tribute to her mother, who loved cross country skiing.
