Four-legged friends were led inside as students who attended the Holbrook Sheep and Wool Fair demonstrated their skills.
Students from years seven, nine and 10 attended the three-day event and competed in the all-breeds category and Poll Dorset category.
The school was named the overall most successful exhibitor.
Participants paraded the sheep into the gym yesterday to show the rest of the school their winning ribbons.
“It teaches students how on-farm sheep management relates to the consumer product,” head of agriculture Trevor Dawson said.
“It opens up pathways they might not have thought of before.”
