The Australian Wool Exchange Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) closed the week at 1297c/kg which is just 7c/kg short of a record.
Moses and Son principal, Marty Moses of Temora said there was a 93 per cent clearance. He said all Merino fleece categories continued to strengthen with the 19.5 to 22 micron posting the strongest results. There is less than 20c difference between the 19 and 21 micron.
