Numbers halved at this sale with lamb supply showing the decrease.

Quality was also reduced from the previous sale with a larger percentage of plainer lambs offered along with the few well finished pens.

The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market. Light lambs slipped $3 to sell from $107 to $123/head. Trade weights were $3 to $6 easier with prices ranging from $124 to $148/head. Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs were $8 to $10/head easier on a reduced quality offering. Heavy lambs sold from $150 to $168/head.

Extra heavy weights received from $158 to $197/head. Carcase prices averaged from 596c to 650c/kg. Mutton numbers were very limited and quality was mixed. Merino ewes sold from $90 to $120/head.

Crossbreds received from $95 to $120 and Dorper ewes reached $125/head.
