Ashley Fraser of Baker Seed Company, Rutherglen, Victoria said the crops on the site had benefited from about 500mm of in-crop rainfall.
While this rain was too much for some crops in the Riverina he said it certainly allowed some of the new varieties at Henty to thrive.
