During the week long event, 42 studs across the eastern Riverina to the Central West and Southern Highlands and Tablelands will welcome loyal clients and prospective bull purchasers which continues until Sunday, July 30, when studs around Bungendore put cattle on display.
Focusing on continued genetic improvement, some of the leading seedstock operations in the state are happy to preview their bulls for their forthcoming on-property sales or for private treaty during their open day.
At the Yavenvale display, “Riverview”, Borambola, James and Nicki Pearce reported steady interest for the Hereford bulls on the first day of the beef week, with clients purchasing suitable sires for their operations.
“It has been a good day for us,” Mr Pearce said.
