Against a backdrop of big crowds and producers who are interested in the latest and greatest innovation for the rural sector Case IH cut the cake and reflected on the past 175 years.

Case IH was an original exhibitor at the Henty Machinery Field Days and has been involved in the southern NSW event since the inception.

In fact, field days chairman Ross Edwards of Yerong Creek drives a Case tractor on his property. 

“Not many companies get around to being 175 years,” said Case IH product manager Tim Slater.

“It makes us really proud, we have a long background and today we are bringing a really good product range to the field days,” he said. 

Mr Edwards commended Case on the milestone and said the 2017 field days were set to attract what was shaping up to look like a record crowd. 

“This is testament to the weather,” he said

“I think it has been a great three days and hopefully we can pick up some rain early next week,” he said. 

“The sunny weather certainly encourages people to come a long but they come here to meet friends, see relatives and meet representatives from the different ag companies … it is a chance to have a day away from the farm and enjoy yourself,” he said.
