A GRIFFITH meeting will discuss methods for combating rural crime in regional areas.
You might have had stock stolen, something disappear from the workshop, or you could have even come across someone roaming around your farm- we need to be putting these stories in front of NSW Police.

The meeting comes after a raft of changes in tackling the rise of rural crime in NSW were announced earlier this year.
NSW Farmers Regional Services Manager Simone Norrie said the breakfast in Griffith was being hosted to coincide with the Rural Crime Advisory Group (RCAG) meeting that is being held later that day in Griffith.
“You might have had stock stolen, something disappear from the workshop, or you could have even come across someone roaming around your farm- we need to be putting these stories in front of NSW Police,” Ms Norrie said.
“Deputy Commissioner Regional Field Operations Gary Worboys will be attending to hear these stories.”
“It is a great opportunity to highlight local rural crime issues,” she said. Other RCAG members including representatives from the Department of Justice, Department of Primary Industries, and Local Land Services will also be attending.
“NSW Farmers receives lots of member feedback about the prevalence of rural crime,” she said.
It’s a major issue for all producers and one that NSW Farmers is doing a lot of work on.”
