Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is happy to announce the resumption of the school-operated bus service for country families.
Every term when there is an exeat, usually mid-term, the Boarding House will provide a return bus service to designated country towns.
One parent from Cootamundra, Justine, said it was “is a fantastic service offered to country families”, while another parent, Claire from Barmedan, said the bus service was very much appreciated.
CGGS also runs a local bus service, which gives boarders the opportunity to engage in a large variety of co-curricular activities across the Canberra region.
In any one evening, the bus can travel to up to 20 different locations, taking the girls to activities such as dance, rugby and horse riding.

The easy and stress-free commute to Canberra also offers parents the opportunity to visit their children should they be participating or competing in a weekend co-curricular activity.
CGGS has a scholarship program available, which offers a variety of scholarships with financial bursaries for both boarding and tuition fees.
Learn more about the 2020 scholarship program or register your interest in applying through the CGGS website, www.cggs.act.edu.au/scholarships/.
Come along and have a chat with the head of the boarding family, Tina Twigg, at the Wagga Wagga Boarding Schools Expo, on June 15-16.
