Brad, who is known for his ability to win in multiple events, matched it with the best within the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) to win the award.
He competed against the top 15 saddle bronc riders in Australia during the four rounds at the national finals.
Brad won the first two rounds to edge out the competition. Fellow southern NSW cowboy Cody Angland of Wantabadgery won the bareback in round one and shared the win with Brad in the saddle bronc in round two.
Stephanie Gard from Table Top, also in southern NSW, won the all around cowgirl award. And Lockington, Victoria cowgirl Leslie Moore earned the barrel racing title, and fellow Lockington competitor Cherie O’Donoghue won the breakaway roping title.
The all around cowboy award was won by Shane Kenny of Emerald, Queensland. He won the title and average at the championships in the rope and tie, steer wrestling, team roping to blitz the all around title.
