He sold 80 second-cross Poll Dorsets under the hammer at the Wagga Livestock Marketing Centre.
The lambs, finished on pasture crops, were estimated to weigh 27 kilograms and had $10 skins.
“I was really pleased … I have sold a lot through here since about September and this was the best result so far,” said Mr Plum.
It was the sixth time this spring sheep from the Ladysmith property had been sold at the Wagga market.
The lambs also benefited from the recent rain throughout southern NSW and the Riverina.
“The rain helped to clean them up really nice, they look good,” he said.
Meanwhile, the offering of Wagga was of mixed quality and initial pens started off selling dearer.
Overall the market was quoted as being $4 dearer than last week.
