TWO drivers have died following a crash involving two trucks near Whitton in the NSW Riverina on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mount Harris Road and Irrigation Way at Stanbridge, around 2.20pm following reports of a crash.
Police have been told two trucks collided at the intersection and, as a result, both trucks caught fire.
The fire then spread to near-by bushland, but has been contained by the Rural Fire Service.
Both of the truck drivers died at the scene. Neither driver has been formally identified.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command attended and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
A crime scene has been established and the intersection of Irrigation Way and Mount Harris Way will be closed for a significant amount of time.
The Leeton Volunteer Rescue Association, paramedics and Leeton Fire and Rescue NSW also attended.
Northbound motorists are being diverted onto Murrami Road, Whitton Road and Binyah Street to return to Irrigation Way.
Southbound motorists will divert on to Binyah Road and Whitton Road to continue on to Leeton.
Roads and Maritime Services heavy vehicle inspectors are also attending, with Leeton Shire Council assisting with the road closures.
