WOOL prices increased by 28c/kg at auction sales with the Eastern Market Indicator settling at 1508c.

Moses and Sons principal, Marty Moses of Temora said 28,585 bales were offered and the market was met with new vigour.

“The key areas of new demand were experienced in most Merino MPG’s however, it was the medium merino types that were the star of the show with the 20-22 MPG’s posting 55c to 65c increases for the week,” he said.

“The positive sentiment spilled over into the skirtings with the low Vegetable Matter (VM) and best length and style skirting types commanding bullish bidding to the last lot.”
