Offering a complete service for customers has always been the goal at JRC Electrical Services and in the last six weeks they have come one step closer to that goal.
The Wagga-based business now has a fully-qualified Level 1 High Voltage division.
“We can offer our clients a turnkey solution,” one of the owners Matt Connellan said.
“People in Wagga only had a few options (before JRC became qualified) so they might have to wait for a while or get someone from out of the region.”
JRC Electrical Services has been operating for the past 25 years in the region.
The business currently has five owners who are all managers and work in the Wagga based company.
“Chances are if you deal with us you will be speaking to one of the owners,” Mr Connellan said.
This local feel extends beyond the owners where JRC Electrical Services support many local business`s wherever possible purchasing goods and services as well as being a member of the Wagga Business Chamber.
This feature is supported by:
JRC Electrical Services employs 24 staff who service around 100 clients.
“We’re a fairly prominent business in the industry,” Mr Connellan said.
Clients who use JRC Electrical Services vary in size from Wagga City Council to abattoirs, timber mill and paper industry, mining and irrigation sectors.
“A lot of our work is based around industrial and commercial installation and maintenance,” Mr Connellan said.
The addition of the Level 1 High Voltage division has seen their client base expand all over the state.
It took the team about six months to gain the qualification and involved a huge investment in the equipment needed to complete the works.
Work that can be completed under the new division includes: Level 1 High Voltage installations, New subdivision power supplies, New Transformers, Power to pumps and new buildings, High Voltage Maintenance for Factories, Essential Energy approved Contractor and Roads & Maritime Services prequalified Contractor.
