In fact, Mr Keen’s involvement possibly goes back before then.
Initially they were known for their immaculately-presented Holsteins that dominated the dairy section for decades at Wagga Show.
And in more recent times they have switched to beef cattle and enjoyed success showing Murray Greys.
“It is really good to have the kids here, and to see them learning more about agriculture,” Mrs Keen said.
The agriculture science students from various Wagga high schools participated in judging presentations and learned more about how an animal would “dress out” once it was killed.
