On Monday heavy falls of rain hit the region just as windrowing of canola crops began.
WHERE THE RAIN FELL:
- Culcairn 33
- Urana 32
- Lockhart 18
The heavy rain came after the Bureau of Meteorology issued warnings for southern NSW and northern Victoria.
The bureau cited a vigorous westerly airflow for the high winds and heavy rain. Parts of southern NSW experienced gusts of up to 90km an hour which caused trees to fall and some damage.
Meanwhile, this week also marked the start of harvest activity.
