MICHAEL Wilkinson of Netherby has won this year’s Wallendbeen wheat crop competition with a crop of Condo variety, estimated to yield 7.25 tonnes to the hectare, was awarded 217 points.

Second place was won by Alex Baldry of Macdoon, with a crop of Coolah variety, estimated to yield 7.05 tonnes with 208 points.
Ken Clark of Killarney came in third with a crop of Condo, earning 191 points with a yield of 6.1 tonnes.
Seed Purity – Trueness to Type award was won by Bob Scott of Hillview.
The 10 entries were judged on Tuesday, November 7 by agronomist Andrew Daly.
