Wild skies delight Riverina storm chasers | Photos

Yesterday’s turbulent skies had photographers around the region going wild, the looming thunderstorm turning up some jaw-dropping snaps. 

A funnel cloud was sighted about 15kms out of Narrandera on the way to Wagga at around 5.30 in the afternoon.

There’s a wet weekend ahead with storm clouds predicted to hang over the region until Monday.

A total of 7.8mm fell overnight until about 12pm with showers developing today. 

There’s a 90 per cent chance of 3-8mm on Saturday, with morning and afternoon thunderstorms predicted.
