More than 20 people from the Wagga Institute participated in Movember and with just a couple of days to go before the end of the month the group raised $3000.
Movember raises awareness and funds for men’s health issues and helps to generate camaraderie within communities. “I think everyone’s better half is looking forward to the mos getting removed,” laughed NSW DPI technical officer Hugh Kanaley. Fellow technical officer Hayden Petty, who took time out from harvesting trial crops to talk to The Rural, said he was looking forward to shaving his off before graduation in a couple of weeks.
