John Gill and sons, popular rodeo producers and The Rock residents, have made this event possible.
They will be assisted by volunteers in the community.
The event will aim to raise money for local charities, including the State Emergency Service, Rural Fire Service and the Men’s Shed, through takings at the gate.
The event will include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback bronc, team roping and a ladies barrel race.
The Australian Army Band Kapooka will play live from 4.30pm and there is a rumour Santa might make an appearance on a fire truck.
Gates open at 3pm at 4760 Olympic Highway at The Rock (The Kings Own Hotel).
The official launch of the event will be held on December 15 from 7pm.
