The launch in 2017 of Frensham’s Drone Academy reflects a world dependent on technological innovation and scientific discovery.
“It is essential that students leave school with the skills and motivation to undertake the many related professions linked to what are widely known as STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), with equal emphasis on interpretation through the Arts,” head of Frensham, Julie Gillick, said. “In 2017, the works of more than 30 per cent of Frensham’s HSC Design and Technology class were nominated for the NSW Showcase. Jessica Latimer, from Wagga Wagga, has been selected for a place in the 2018 UNSW Women in Engineering Camp.”
