SPRYS Shorthorn and Angus will sell an outstanding group of commercially focused bulls at its sale on April 20.
The bulls have a balanced set of EBVs that are focused on the commercial producer increasing profit with their progeny.
The Spry family is celebrating 54 years of breeding and has a long-term commitment to the improvement of the Shorthorns and, in recent years, Angus.
This year’s bulls are the most complete lot offered by Sprys in terms of genetic data, including calving ease, carcass, growth and maturity.
The sale bulls will be ready to go to work immediately for their new owners.
Prepared for a long working life, the Spry bulls have had a full veterinary examination including feet and structure by Dr Reon Holmes from Holbrook Vet Centre.

The offerings include bulls from Spry’s new outcross sire, Muridale Thermal Energy 15A, which exhibit an excellent balanced data set with structure in a medium maturity package, ideal for the Australian environment.
Thermal Energy 15A looks as if he will blend very well with Theodore and Legend genetics.
Other sires represented are The Grove Gigabytes J0837, purchased for $57,500 in conjunction with Arubial Stud, Condamine, and Sprys Primroses Buddy J17, which has also bred the house down.
For the discerning breeder there will be two top cows available, who have bred bulls selling to $20,000, as well as elite young heifers (one by Thermal Energy 15A and one by Royalla Rembrandt K413, purchased for $42,000).
Sprys will also offer frozen embryos from “super cow” The Grove Primrose A742 and young up and coming donor, Sprys Aces Lavendar K113.
Beef producers are invited to inspect the bulls prior to the sale by contacting the vendors on 0428 651 481 or 6928 5526.
