Lockhart Bowling Club

LAST Saturday Lockhart played Rules Club (2) in the final round of district pennants.

Fortune was on the side of Lockhart this week even though on the day the wind was the clear winner on the day.

Lockhart came away with a victory to set the scene for a couple of beverages enjoyed by the players after the game especially one of our bowlers who really enjoyed himself.

Final scores were Lockhart 65 Rules (2) 50 for a 10-0 victory.

Steve Johnston won 21-9, Jason Healy won 20-18 and Bruce Rayner won 24-23.

In the Grade 7 finals our own greenkeeper Peter Jenkinson who now plays for Wagga RSL will be doing battle against Yerong Creek, so good luck to Jenko.
