Meat and Livestock Australia’s National Livestock Reporting Service states that calves to restockers were dearer and made 265c/kg.
Heavy trade vealers sold between 250c and 270c/kg. Lighter feeder steers sold 10c easier and sold from 230c to 278c/kg. Medium and heavy weights were around 6c easier with the exception of a few which were from a large line of forward conditioned feeders. Prices ranged from 210c to 300.6c/kg. Feeder heifers were dearer by 8c to 9c selling from 220c to 272c/kg. Trade cattle were firm 265c to 280c/kg.
Grown steers were back 6c but full-mouth steers made 168c to 262c/kg.
