The full dispersal of Annette Tynan’s well-known Birubi herd will be held on November 10 and will comprise of stud females, Lim-Flex females and an elite group of young bulls and herd sires.
There will also be an auction held for the stud’s show gear.
All the other bulls were to be be sold by private treaty, which commenced on August 1.
There will be 270 lots in the sale.
Annette and Michael Tynan registered their first Birubi Limousin in 1992 and added the Lim-Flex program in 2000.
The stud has had a lot of success both in the show ring – winning two Interbreed Champions titles at Sydney Royal, with both those females will be in the dispersal – and also more importantly with how successfully its genetics have worked in other herds.
Sadly Michael passed away in early 2016 leaving a huge gap in the heart of everyone that knew him.
The stud’s home base has been at Borambola, Wagga Wagga for the past 13 years where on-property sales have been held.
The sale will again be conducted as a video auction run by Landmark in conjunction with Auctions Plus.
“It will be very sad to say goodbye as we have had a wonderful experience breeding Limousin for over 25 years,” Mrs Tynan said.
“It’s a great breed with a lot to look forward to in the future.”
The two properties in the Wagga area will also be sent to auction on Tuesday, October 23.
