According to Meat and Livestock Australia’s National Livestock Reporting Service restocking weaner steers sold from 240c to 270c and heifers made from 180c to 221c/kg lwt.
Light Euro steers were 15c stronger reaching 277c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers were 6c cheaper and the heavy weights made 269c to 297c/kg. Feeder heifers were firm to slightly dearer on a few head, making from 240c to 271c/kg. Heavy trade steers made 272c/kg.
The few heavy grown steers were firm and sold from 160c to 272c/kg.
Cows were back 10c to 12c, with the medium weight 2 scores receiving from 161c to 194c.
