The aim is to allow for safe access and gates around the popular facility.
Wagga based Nationals MP Wes Fang announced the state funding.
“The Tarcutta Horse Sports is such an important institution for locals with pony clubs, horse trials, sheep dog trials, dressage and polocrosse all taking place within the grounds” Mr Fang said.
“The staff and volunteers at the Recreation Ground provide a wealth of family friendly activities for locals throughout the year and I am delighted they were successful in receiving this grant.
“It is only through strong advocacy and representation in Government that small, locally run organisations can continue to be the focus for investment in our regional areas.
Mr Fang congratulated Tarcutta Horse Sports president, Amanda Pincott and secretary Jasmine Allen on their successful application.
