And if numbers are to be a guide there is certainly a demand for physical activity and a catch up with like-minded people.
When Serinah Maddox of Coolamon put the call out for her 12-week challenge the response was overwhelming.
More than 70 people responded and the popularity of the group fitness, which also incorporates nutrition advice and shared stories to help foster positive mental health, took off.
It took off so much that the concept has earned support from Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network in the form of a grant worth more than $20,000.
Mrs Maddox said in addition to the grant local businesses had supported the program too.

And for those who have put their hand up to participate age is certainly no barrier.
“We have ages spanning from 17 to 65,” she said.
Mrs Maddox said many of the people who were involved came from rural backgrounds and were employed in the farming sector.
She said the prolonged dry conditions meant many producers were doing it tough.
And getting the body fit was considered an important facet in promoting a fit mind too.
“The focus is on getting people fit ... strong body and strong mind,” she said.
With Kindra Park at Coolamon as the backdrop Mrs Maddox said she was looking forward to catching up with people, sharing their journey and hearing their stories.
“It is certainly OK to say that you are struggling at the moment,” she said.
And if a catch up while participating in some fitness exercises helps just one person she said the challenge was worth it.
