Mrs Turner is the branch manager of Fox and Lillie Wool Brokers at Culcairn.
It is a role that takes her from the selling floor of wool auctions in Melbourne to the far reaching locations of pastoral country west of Hay and beyond.
And despite the tough seasonal conditions times couldn't be better for wool.
In recent times wool has enjoyed some of the highest prices on record.
And it is also a time when the fibre has earned an image as being versatile in everything form high-end runway garments through to technically-capable sportswear.
Mrs Turner has worked at the Culcairn branch since 2012 when it was opened.
Originally from Holbrook she said the region had a lot to offer.

Her children, Opal, 11 and Gabriell, 7, go to school in Culcairn and in addition to working in the wool industry Mrs Turner embraces roles in the community.
"I'm a people person and this is a great community," Mrs Turner said.
She is a member of the Henty Machinery Field Days (HMFD) and is treasurer of the Culcairn Show Society and is involved with the Culcairn Landcare group.
A highlight is in attracting shearers and wool handlers to the region to participate in competitions.
She said the Billabong Shearing Series coincided with the Walbundrie and Culcairn Shows in October and drew people into the Greater Hume region.
