Volume buyers dominated interest in the annual autumn on-property sale of Irelands Angus at Ivydell, Kyemba on account Corey and Prue Ireland.

There was a total clearance of the 44 bulls offered, with top price of $7000 and average of $5034.
Top price at $7000 was paid for Irelands Nevertire, an 18 month-old son of Rawburn Boss Hogg, and weighing 820kg by a repeat buyer from Wagga Wagga.
The top priced bull had the impressive growth figures of +51 200 day weight, +92 400 day weight and + for 600 day weight, while the EMA square cm was +4.5 and Rib Fat mm was -0.1 and Rump Fat was +0.3.
Volume purchasers included Mooney Pastoral Company Pty Ltd, Bundella whose draft of nine young sires averaged $4889.
Josh Ede representing Mooney Pastoral Co said it was a good first sale for them: the currently graze 600 cows complimenting a large cropping program and are slowly building breeding cow numbers.
"We had a budget which we weren't going exceed," Mr Ede said.
"These bulls we've bought are going to be joined to first calf heifers and we're just going to start building our herd, so this is all in the starting process for us, it's all going to happen in the next two months," Mr Ede said.
Other volume buyers included the McMahon family, Longreach who put together a draft of 15 new sires for average price of $4367 and eight bulls were bought through AuctionsPlus.
Victorian-based buyers included C.J Pendergast and Co, Bairnsdale who selected three bulls for $6000 average while L Mekken, Bairnsdale added to their sire battery with two new sires to top of $6000 and Holbrook-based producer A.A Mills and Family also purchased two sires for $5000 average price.
Speaking after the sale, stud principal Corey Ireland expressed delight at the result and appreciation of the support through a tough season.
"We are exceptionally pleased with the result, we are overwhelmed with the continued support of our loyal customers as well as new customers," he said. "Certainly we are very pleased with the offering."
The sale was interfaced with AuctionsPlus and was conducted by Glasser Total Sales Management, Patrice Vale, Victoria and H Francis and Co, Wagga Wagga.
