Light weight lambs weighing 12-18kg sold $4 easier, going to the processors from $95 to $148/head. Trade weight lambs were firm to $2 easier, with the light and medium trade making from $134 to $164, while the heavy trade sold from $165 to $180/head. Well finished heavy lambs suiting the export and domestic processors lifted $2, receiving from $180 and $186 and the extra heavy export lambs were firm to $2 better, making from $182 to $245/head or from 661c to 709c/kg cwt.
There were some excellent well covered Merino wethers weighing over 30kg making $200/head or over 600c/kg. Medium weight 2 and 3 score ewes sold from $71 to $140/head. The best of the Merino 4 score ewes made to $160 and heavy crossbred ewes sold from $128 to $180/head.
