According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service rain in the drawing area saw numbers decrease with 4000 head.
Light lambs lifted $7 to make from $135 to $146/head. Trade weights were $5 to $10 dearer, with prices varying from $148 to $171/head.
Heavy lambs to 26kg also lifted $10 to receive from $180 to $198, with extra heavy weights making from $191 to $230/head.
Carcase prices averaged from 700c to 755c/kg cwt.
Mutton numbers were very limited and quality was mixed. Prices again lifted, with Merino ewes making from $135 to $210, as crossbred ewes sold from $122 to $230/head.
