The auction saw dogs from throughout Australia keenly sought after by astute buyers.
The top bitch was six-years old and offered by Hay vendor Geoff McDougall.
One of the event organisers Stephen Condell said it was a firm sale in tough seasonal conditions.
The dogs averaged $4660 which was up on last year's result. Buyers from the local area, Guyra, Inverell and Tasmania purchased dogs and there was lots of interest in the new purpose-built centre.
"We had very positive feedback from competitors and vendors and the public," said Mr Condell. Auctioneers Joe Wilks and James Tierney took the bids.
