In operation for over 40 years, Nixons is well known nationally as a supplier and manufacturer of equipment for both the transport and agricultural industries.
The hydraulic division has fully trained staff that specialise in the fitting, repairing and servicing of truck hydraulics, tipper hoist cylinders and truck cranes.
Nixons Engineering has now installed hoist cylinder test bench.
The unit is powered by 40hp electric motor and cycles cylinders in and out to full working spec. This ensures that every truck hoist repaired is tested before delivery to the customer.
Nixons also offer a full range of spare parts for truck tipping systems.
The workshop manufactures a range of tipping and flat-top bodies for both gravel and farm markets, as well as pig and dog trailers for the road transport industry.
The sales department specialises in the supply of tipper hoist cylinders, truck PTO and pump combinations, truck cranes, trailer axle parts, including suspensions, and driveline components.
The machine shop is fully equipped with CNC lathes for the manufacture of hydraulic hoist barrels and a Sunnen honing machine for hoist barrel repairs.
Nixons Wagga are vehicle loading equipment specialists, with years of experience supplying, fitting and servicing all the major brands.
