WOOL prices fell by 8c/kg at auction with the Australian Wool Exchange eastern market indicator settling at 1952c.

Moses and Son principal Marty Moses said the 32,801 offering was a drop of 10,000 bales from the previous week's sale.

A total of 12.9 per cent was passed in as growers expectations were not met in some cases, especially in the southern and western markets where 13 per cent and 18 per cent were the respective passed-in rates were.
