According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service restockers and feeders paid from $125 to $157/head. The 2-score processing lambs were $2 dearer, making from $108 to $145/head. Medium and heavy trade weights to 24kg were firm to $2 dearer, making from $145 to $188/head, averaging from 750c to 780c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs were $5 to $6 cheaper, receiving from $183 to $239/head or from 710c to 730c/kg cwt. Light Merino lambs sold from $72 to $128 and hoggets reached 210/head.
Mutton numbers were steady and quality improved.
