Nearly 200 horses, riders, strappers and families pitted themselves against the weather, the terrain and the clock at the annual Table Top Endurance ride held by Oso Arabians.

Riders from Belgium, Hong Kong, Iraq, Scotland and Switzerland joined competitors from NSW, Queensland and Victoria.

The events ranged from 40 to 120 kilometres, with those entered in the longer rides required to be on course at 2am.

Mostly run over farmland and gravel roads, the course location offered some beautiful sunrises and spectacular mountain views.

While Arabian horses are common in endurance riding, a variety of horses took part in the Easter carnival including stockhorses, standardbreds, brumbies and a little Welsh mountain cross.

First across the line in the 120km event was NSW rider Georgia Curry riding Mountain Breeze Just Annallusion in a time of seven hours, 31 minutes.

But in a sport where the motto is To Complete Is To Win, there were many winners at Table Top.
