DRIVING energy costs down is a focus of upcoming workshops in the Riverina.

The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) invites all Riverina wine industry participants and energy solution providers to the Riverina vineyard and winery electricity management workshops.

Each three-hour workshop will give you a strong foundation on the basics of energy management and leave you with ideas to take action towards reducing your energy costs.

The DPI Griffith Research Station, Farm 217, Murray Road, Hanwood will host the first workshop on June 4 at 8.30am. This will be followed by another one at 12.30pm at the same location.

NSW DPI development officer Adrian Englefield said topics include an explanation of the energy market.
