According to Landmark Wagga heavy cow prices were firm to 5c/kg dearer and ranged from 193c/kg to 229c/kg.
Restocker cows were 10c to 15c dearer compared to last week with some Pregnancy Tested in Calf (PTIC) cows pushing above 200c/kg.
In the heavy steer section an exceptional pen of Angus steers, weighing 588 kilograms offered by RW Podmore made $1843.96/head equating to 313.2c/kg.
Feeder steers were quoted as being 5c to 15c dearer to average 296c/kg. Feeder heifers were 5c/kg dearer making 240c/kg to 298c/kg. Restocker steers sold from 10c to 10c dearer and made 220c/kg to 320c/kg to average 258c/kg.
Restocker steers were 10c to 20c/kg dearer and sold from 176c/kg to 260c/kg.
Angus steers, weighing 588 kilograms offered by RW Podmore made $1843.96/head equating to 313.2c/kg.

Brendan Gaynor of Riverina Livestock Agents said the yarding was much better quality and the market trended a lot higher.
He said the buyers were showing more urgency in their purchases.
"This showed better prices across all categories."
