Vendors sold 7650 sheep and lambs and according to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service lambs sold from $136 to $148/head.
Trade weights were $10 to $15 easier with prices ranging from $158 to $212/head.
Heavy and extra heavyweight were $10 to $20/head easier and more in places. Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $212 to $246 with extra heavyweights ranging from $255 to $295/head. Carcase prices averaged from 867c to 927c/kg cwt.
Mutton numbers eased and quality was very mixed. Merino ewes sold from $110 to $200/head.
